難波八坂神社

👀 SEE

Also known as Namba Yasaka Jinja

The one with the enormous 12-meter lion head that looks like it's about to eat the shrine grounds — the mouth is said to swallow evil spirits and spit back good luck. Entry is free and it opens at 6am, which is exactly when you want to be there: by mid-morning the photo spot has a line. It closes early in the afternoon, so don't slot this into your evening.
